I always wanted to try Baked Ziti and this is the recipe I used.  Turned out pretty good!!

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 pound ziti – cooked & drained
8 ounce ricotta cheese
8 ounce cottage cheese
1 egg
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
16 ounces pasta sauce, your favorite
1 small onion diced
2 garlic cloves crushed
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil

Instructions

Brown beef with onion, garlic, oregano and basil, drain. Add spaghetti sauce. Simmer about 15 minutes. Pour over cooked pasta. Add egg, ricotta and stir to mix well.

Grease a large casserole dish. Pour half the pasta mixture into bottom. Top with 1 cup mozzarella. Pour in remaining pasta. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Yields: 8 Servings
