Clean Eating Curried Split Pea and Ham Soup

I absolutely love split pea soup and adding the curry gives a nice little spicy lift. This is one of “go to” clean eating soups to throw in the crockpot during the winter!!

1 pound dried green split peas
6 cups water
8 ounces ham, cubed
3 stalk celery, diced
1 cup carrots, diced
2 cloves garlic
1 onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 bay leaves
2 tablespoons curry powder


Put all ingredients in a crockpot in the order listed.

Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours.

Discard bay leaves before serving.
